Art & Education is a project developed for the older student supported by Statens Kunstfond. The project stems from research
that confirms that the artistic processes, in addition to opening up creativity, also open up better well-being and support general life education.

To make your mark in the world
Public commission at School on Duevej, 2018.

Inspired by the students marks on the original School building from 1906 – The idea was to connect the building by materials and by
giving the students a voice to put their marks in the world anno 2018.

More than 200 students in age 6-15 was asked the same 20
questions about their life as kids, students and about their
school life in general.

These words were curated from the 2000 sentences in total.

Media: Ceramic tiles, ceramic glazing & young students thoughts
on school & life.

The 997 ceramic tiles were handprinted by the artist at
Tommerup Ceramic workshop.
